Thomas Pratt entered a mark as a plateworker, in partnership with Arthur Humphreys , on the 7th July 1780, his son Thomas was apprenticed to him 6th April 1785, two further sons were apprenticed to him John, 1790 and James 1796, Thomas Pratt died 2nd December 1796
.Arthur Humphreys, was apprenticed to John Deacon on the 5th June 1771, he was turned over later to James Stamp, freedom unrecorded, his only recorded mark was in partnership with Thomas Pratt
These are unusual in their design as they "ride" in the middle, they are an attractive pair, with very fine detail, and of a good weight.
