Five Pairs
 
Thomas Wallis 1st was apprenticed to William Jones on the 7th June 1749, he was free on the 1st December 1756, entered his first mark as a largeworker on the 8th March 1758 (two sizes) By October 1771 when Thomas Wallis ll was apprenticed to him, he appears as aplateworker in the Parl. report list in 1773, he died about 1818-1822  
 
 

 

A very fine casting of a pair of Tongs, they have no repairs but there is a small flaw along the leg, which considering their construction it is not surprising
