William Harrison Ist entered his first mark as a smallworker on the 18th July 1758, he entered a second mark (which l believe this one is) on the 20th May 1767 at Monkwell Street London.

This pair are a solid pair of Cast Tongs with no piercing, they weigh 45 grams and are 5.5 " long, there is an inscription of l + C on the Bow.

These are an unusual and good pair of solid cast tongs

There is also a worn but attractive feather edge engraving, the bowls on this pair are shaped
more like the ones found on later "one piece" sugar tongs.

This pair l have also attributed to William Harrison, the makers mark is not all that clear but on very close inspection it appears to match his mark by the shape of the punch.

These are an attractive pair with unique shaped  Bowls.
